Kids Earth Fund(KEF) is a Nobel Peace Prize–nominated nonprofit organization founded in Tokyo, Japan, in 1988. With a global outreach network, we work worldwide to promote peace through the power of children’s art.
Since its establishment, KEF has provided humanitarian aid to children affected by illness, war, and natural disasters by donating relief supplies, art materials, books, and medicine. We have also built homes and schools in countries including Croatia, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Japan.
To date, we have hosted more than 1,000 art workshops across over 40 countries. These workshops function as art-therapy sessions, offering children a safe space to express themselves creatively while contributing to a greater cause. The artworks created are exhibited in museums and licensed for use in product design, generating support for children in need around the world.
Through creativity and compassion, children help one another — embodying our guiding principle: “Kids Helping Kids.”
